The night before the 2026 Ohio State Law Fair, all pre-law students and alumni are invited to attend a law school admissions panel discussion featuring admission deans and directors from several universities around the country to learn about the admission process, student life, opportunities, and the benefits of a legal education. Featuring:
- Iain Davis, Assistant Dean of Admissions and Student Financial Management at University of Denver Sturm College of Law
- Bianca Mack, Associate Dean for Student Affairs at University of North Carolina School of Law
- Kathy Northern, Associate Dean for Outreach, Engagement, and Professional Identity at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law
- Erin Preston, Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions at Vanderbilt University Law School
Even if you're not considering one of the law schools participating the panel will also be discussing how to stand out in the admissions process and how to make the most of the Law Fair the following day, including etiquette, good/bad/ugly questions, and more. Bring your questions!
Pre-registration via Handshake is recommended (though not required).
Part of "24 Hours of Pre-Law" centered around the 2026 Ohio State Law Fair, this event is free and open to the public - you do not need to be an Ohio State student to attend.
