- Introductory physics: Physics 111, 112, 113 (1200, 1201)

* If one or both introductory biology courses are taken in quarters. Examples include Molecular Genetics 500 (4500), Microbiology 509 (4000), etc.
Note that completion of Math 148 (1148) or higher is a prerequisite for the above course sequences. Many students, however, complete additional math courses (e.g., 1149, 1151, 1152, etc.) as part of their undergraduate degree plans (often required for the major).
